With its economic and military terrorism, the United States poses a threat to all of humanity, and the Western media plays an enabling role that must be countered with the same speed, intensity and ferocity with which they spread propaganda.

Venezuela being our battle ground is not a small decision. The Venezuelan people have long been at the forefront of the anti-imperialist struggle despite being subjected to US unilateral coercive measures, international piracy, mountains of propaganda, military attacks and even kidnappings. Even through internal conflicts and contradictions, Venezuela’s ongoing Bolivarian Revolution history cannot be erased. It deserves to be told.

We believe that independent journalism from Venezuela is more important than ever. We need stories that truly capture the hopes and struggles of the Venezuelan working class, the people facing the consequences of US imperialism, and the people building socialist ideas and practices in their territories. They are the greatest barrier to protect sovereignty and Bolivarianism in the face of the US offensive against the region.
