About us

The Assembly Media is an independent media outlet based in Venezuela, covering news and analysis on the communal project, grassroots organization, Venezuela, Abya Yala, and beyond. Founded in 2026, it brings an anti-imperialist, Chavista, and people’s power perspective to all of its content.

We publish articles, opinion pieces, and interviews with a focus on Venezuelan communes, grassroots organizing, and the Chavista bases — the backbone of the Bolivarian Revolution.

We produce our own written and multimedia content, striving to accurately portray Venezuela’s reality while rejecting the media bias that pervades mainstream coverage of our country and the region.

We are also committed to compiling valuable information and debates around Chavismo that would otherwise never reach the outside world — lost to the lack of translation, censorship, silencing, and the blockade enforced against Venezuela and other countries.
